Camanio Care AB: Camanio Care signs agreement with OneCo AS to promote further Nordic collaboration

The new agreement aims to expand the collaboration between the two companies, with the intention of a joint effort in processing the Swedish and Norwegian market for digital care.

The market for digital care is of great interest for several actors. Within health care for instance, digital care can improve the effectiveness of work staff, which is an area where savings could be made. In order to consolidate a strong position on the market, Camanio signs an agreement of collaboration with the Norwegian industrial group OneCo AS that are also establishing themselves in Sweden.

Well established company within digitalization

OneCo AS is a well-established company on the Norwegian market who works within digitalization within several sectors. Today, the company has 800 employees, and a turnover of approximately 1.3 billion NOK. OneCo has its origins in the industrial sector and has gone from being a technical contractor to a complete supplier of technology within several areas; from electronics and IT, to the digitalization within health care. OneCo started their work within care technology through the acquisition of CareTech As, who previously belonged to Aleris. Henceforth, OneCo wants to build a similar structure in Sweden as the one that has been built in Norway.

The collaboration creates increased opportunities to answer procurements within digital care, both in Sweden and in Norway.

-       We are very happy and proud to be collaborating with OneCo. It will strengthen our joint offer for those municipalities and organizations who want to invest in digital care, says Catharina Borgenstierna, CEO Camanio Care.

Market for digital care

Approximately 30 municipalities in Sweden are renewing their agreements within supervision every year. Today, there are around 200 000 safety alarms in Sweden, which is the first target market in Sweden for digital care services. The general revenues that come from digital care is around 1 000 SEK/year and user. The economic savings are of great importance to the municipalities, and evaluated numbers can be estimated through Välfärdsnurran. A normal sized municipality is estimated to save in the range of a few millions SEK during a couple of years by implementing care technology.
