Follicum AB ("Follicum") reported on August 28, 2018 that all patients in the phase IIa study with FOL-005 for hair growth had completed their treatment. Today Follicum, in according with the company"s communicated time lines, announced it expects to present top-line results from the Phase IIa study by the end of October 2018.
Follicum"s Phase IIa study has been conducted at the CRC in Berlin and bioskin, Hamburg, Germany. The Phase IIa study aims to investigate the safety and therapeutic effect of four different doses of FOL-005 and placebo, administered as injections into the patient’s scalp. Quality assessment of the results for each individual patient is ongoing and when this process is completed and the final step, unblinding and subsequent analyzes are completed, the company will present top-line data, i.e. a summary of the main results of the Phase IIa study.
