In the first quarter of 2025, the Group’s net sales amounted to SEK 85.9 million,
marking a very strong start to the year. This represents a decrease compared to the
same period last year – but it is important to understand the context. In Q1 2024, Aixia
completed its largest deal to date, which had a significant impact on revenues for that
period. Projects of that scale are extensive, and while we expect similar deals in 2025, it
is difficult to control exactly when they are recorded.
Aixia continues to build stable and recurring revenues. Our ARR (Annual Recurring
Revenue) has increased from SEK 7.04 million in Q1 2024 to SEK 9.76 million in Q1
2025 – an increase of nearly 39%. Most of the growth stems from long-term customer
agreements related to our AI solutions for industry, including the implementation of
Machine Vision and automated decision support in production environments. This type of
recurring revenue strengthens our business model and contributes to predictability and
scalability in our operations.
The balance sheet shows clear growth. The balance sheet total has more than
doubled to SEK 110.1 million compared to Q1 2024, driven by increased accounts
receivable as well as investments in software development and technical infrastructure.
The equity ratio stands at 23.3%, which is lower than before but remains stable in
relation to our current growth phase.
A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
Shaping Europe’s Digital Future Through Sovereign AI
We are living in a time of major transformation. The global landscape is marked by technological
competition, rising tensions between world powers, and accelerating digitalization, which places
ever-higher demands on security, control, and autonomy. In this environment, Europe cannot
afford to build its future on terms set by others. We must take control of our digital infrastructure
– and AI is an absolutely key technology in that effort.
At the same time, we are at a crossroads. The growing uncertainty in the world – from geopolitical
power struggles to regulatory changes in data management – is forcing companies and public
actors to rethink their strategies. Who controls our data? How do we protect our trade secrets?
How do we ensure that our solutions remain robust even in turbulent times? The answer lies in
technological independence – and this is where Aixia plays a crucial role.
Through our AI as a Service (AIaaS) model, customers gain access to cutting-edge AI capabilities without the
need to invest in their own hardware solutions. Our offering provides scalability, speed, and security – while ensuring
that all data is processed under Swedish legislation, in our own data centers. This level of assurance is becoming
increasingly critical in a world where legislation, trade relations, and access to technology can change rapidly.
