Press release from Companies
Publicerat: 2025-11-25 12:56:24
Nidhogg Resources Holding AB (publ), (the "Company" or "Nidhogg") announces that on 25 November 2025, the Swedish Mining Inspectorate has granted an extension of the validity of three exploration permits in Vintjärn, Falun Municipality, Dalarna County. The permits are held by Big Rock Mineral AB ("Big Rock") and are covered by the collaboration and transfer agreement entered into between the Company and Big Rock on May 29, 2024.
Decision from the Mining Inspectorate:
The extensions cover the entire respective exploration permits and are mainly based on completed geophysical & magnetic surveys and work with historical drilling data.
The agreement between Nidhogg and Big Rock regulates the collaboration on these licenses and ensures Nidhogg''s continued access to the licenses through a so-called Earn-in agreement. This means that upon obtaining permission for mining in the licenses, 100% of the license rights will go to the Company, while Big Rock will receive a Net Smelter Return.
The extensions strengthen Nidhogg''s long-term strategy to develop iron ore projects with associated minerals in Bergslagen. They complement the Company''s existing permits in the Vintjärn area and constitute an important part of the Company''s continued exploration and development plans.
