Safe at Sea’s distributor in France, Fire Technologies, has received an order for two RescueRunner systems from the French Civil Protection.
The French Civil Protection has, for some time, been evaluating the use of RescueRunner as one of their smaller and more mobile systems – to support challenging operations both in inland waters and along the coastline.
The RescueRunner was originally developed by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS) to enable effective rescue operations in shallow and inaccessible areas where conventional boats cannot operate.
“It’s great to see the growing interest in RescueRunner also in France. The fact that the French Civil Protection has now chosen to invest in our systems confirms that they serve an important role in modern rescue operations,” says Lukas Brehm, Vice President and Head of Sales at Safe at Sea AB.
Delivery is scheduled for Q2 2026.
The order value is approximately SEK 1,100,000.
