The solar energy company Windon Energy and Gårdsystem have completed their first joint deal in battery storage for Swedish agriculture. The deal amounts to just over SEK 2 million, the majority of which is delivered by Windon. This is stated in a press release.The battery storage makes it possible for farmers to smooth out electricity consumption and store surplus electricity from solar panels, contributing to both cost savings and increased sustainability."The fact that we have now completed our first joint deal is an important milestone. We look forward to, together with Gårdsystem, continuing to deliver energy storage solutions to the agricultural segment," says Henrik Karstensen at Windon.Windon Energy and Gårdsystem announced a strategic partnership earlier this year, and this is the first concrete deal to take place.
