The medical technology company Vibrosense Dynamics has signed a tripartite research agreement with the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a clinical study that will evaluate a new treatment to relieve pain in patients with painful diabetic neuropathy. In the study, among other things, Vibrosense Meter II will be used to measure treatment effect and identify patients who are expected to respond well to the treatment. The clinical study is planned to start in January 2026 and be conducted in Sheffield and Leicester.
