Earlier today, the industrial company Sustainion announced that its subsidiary EHC Teknik had received a breakthrough order in the French market. It concerns emissions filtration for military vehicles. The order is worth approximately SEK 6 million, which represents a significant portion of the subsidiary's budgeted revenue for 2026.Deliveries begin in the second quarter. How significant is this breakthrough in practice for EHC Teknik?- As all of Europe's defenses are being strengthened now, we are seeing increased demand for EHC's products to improve the working environment around these military vehicles. This became especially clear with the large order from France, says Sustainion's CEO Brodde Wetter to Finwire, and adds:- Even though the military has always been part of EHC's customer base, there is great potential to increase that share now. Based on EHC's revenue historically, an order of this size from one customer represents a significant portion. Is this a one-off order, or do you see potential for follow-on orders, or perhaps a framework agreement for the French defense sector?- A large part of the sales consists of the filter component itself, which is a consumable. That opens up for recurring orders of consumables. It also becomes a good reference case that can lead to orders from more armed forces in Europe. What do the margins look like for this type of order to the military?- Unfortunately, I cannot comment on that.Do you have the capacity to scale up production if you receive more similar orders?- Yes, EHC has good capacity to handle this. How does this affect the financial guidance or the view of 2026?- As is known, we do not provide forecasts, but it gives EHC a good chance to meet expectations and contribute to the group's results, concludes Brodde Wetter.
