Finwire about PExA AB: Pexa receives Norwegian order for research instrument for occupational health study

The medical technology company Pexa has received an order from the Norwegian Institute of Occupational Health STAMI for a research instrument for the diagnosis of lung diseases through analysis of exhaled breath. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 900,000 and delivery is expected to take place during the first half of 2026.The instrument will be used in a study of occupational risks within the slaughterhouse industry in Norway. The study covers around 150 people at seven slaughterhouses and will be conducted with mobile sampling on-site at the workplaces."It is very gratifying that STAMI chooses Pexa for this type of extensive field study. That our technology will now be used by yet another national occupational health authority strengthens our position within occupational health. The deal is further proof that our instrument works well even in mobile research environments," says Tomas Gustafsson, CEO of Pexa.
