The medical technology company Zenicor announces that the screening phase in SAFER-AUS, part of the world's largest study on atrial fibrillation, has been completed. Together with the corresponding study in the United Kingdom, the results strengthen the support for population-based screening in healthcare. The study shows that systematic screening is feasible in primary care and can enable early diagnosis as well as reduce the risk of stroke.
