Technology company Finepart has updated the standard specification for its Finecut system in a 3-axis version. Positioning accuracy is improved to ±1.5 micrometers from the previous ±2.5, while repeatability is raised to ±1.5 micrometers from ±2.0.The improvements are based on verified performance from deliveries and technological development. The new specification applies to newly produced systems and can in some cases be implemented in existing installations after evaluation.
