Software company QBNK reports an improved operating profit in the first half, while revenue decreased compared with the corresponding period last year.Operating revenue amounted to SEK 20.2 million (21.2). Annual recurring revenue (ARR) at the beginning of July amounted to SEK 37.0 million (37.6).EBITDA amounted to SEK 0.2 million (-0.3). Operating profit was SEK 0.1 million (-0.5). Net profit amounted to SEK 0.1 million (-0.3).Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK -3.2 million (-3.7). In the second quarter, revenue was SEK 10.5 million (10.6) and EBITDA was SEK -0.3 million (-0.4). Operating profit was SEK -0.3 million (-0.4). CEO Jörgen Karlsson says that the first half ended with a positive operating profit despite lower revenue, where the decline in sales is mainly explained by a customer termination from 2025. He states that Professional Services has recovered, that ARR was unchanged compared with the previous quarter and that several new customers during the second quarter have compensated for earlier customer terminations. The QBNK chief sees a positive future and assesses that AI development and upcoming requirements under the EU AI Act strengthen the need for the company's DAM solutions.
