(adds paragraphs 3-5)Materials technology company Prebona has signed an agreement with an international distributor in the textile industry focused on Europe and selected markets in Asia. The collaboration initially covers the Cool&OdorControl and OdorControl products. This is stated in a press release.The collaboration gives Prebona access to an established sales organization and is intended to help the company reach more customers.The agreement is non-exclusive and contains no minimum volume requirements, Prebona CEO Christian Östberg tells Finwire.The company expects a first order to arrive during the autumn. Prebona and the distributor are currently working with a couple of joint customers that are testing the products.Östberg also states that it can take time to go from contact to business in the textile industry. According to the CEO, many customers are seeking replacement products for technologies and products that are being phased out within the EU, where Prebona believes that the company's products could serve as alternatives.
