Electric vehicle company Zoomability reports increased revenue in the second quarter compared with the same period a year earlier. The operating result turned to a small profit.Revenue rose to SEK 2.7 million (1.0).The operating result was SEK 0.1 million (-1.7), with an operating margin of 3.7 percent. Profit after tax amounted to approximately SEK 24,700, compared with -SEK 1.5 million a year earlier.Cash and cash equivalents amounted to SEK 5.7 million (2.2).During the second quarter, Zoomability worked for the first time according to its new business model, with production through its joint venture in China and invoiced sales to distributors. CEO Adam Hagman writes this in the interim report.The first twelve Zoom 2.0 units were delivered and invoiced during the quarter. The remaining units in the first production batch, totalling 50 units, were delayed by disruptions in logistics (unrest in the Strait of Hormuz) and only arrived during the final days of June, meaning that only part of them could be recognized as revenue during the period. The company has also signed a distribution agreement for Spain and Portugal.In May, Zoomability carried out two directed new share issues totalling approximately SEK 6.6 million to finance increased production. The company has also initiated a collaboration with Johanniter Aid in Ukraine and delivered ten Zoom Uphill vehicles to war veterans. During the second half of the year, Zoomability will, among other things, scale up production and continue expanding its international distributor network."Q1 marked the end of the build-up phase.
