The real estate company Slottsviken reported increased revenue but lower earnings for the second quarter compared with the same period a year earlier. Net asset value increased. Revenue rose 47.5 percent to SEK 4.7 million (3.2).Operating profit was SEK 0.4 million (1.1), corresponding to an operating margin of 9.6 percent (33.1).Profit after tax amounted to SEK 0.5 million (0.9). Earnings per share amounted to SEK 0.13 (0.37).CEO Jakob Österberg states that the company continues to invest significant resources in its existing property portfolio. Ongoing investments and renovations entail increased costs and are also expected to affect earnings in the coming quarters. At the same time, the measures are expected to gradually generate higher rental income, improved net operating income and higher property values.Given current market conditions, the company believes that investments in the existing portfolio offer a more attractive risk-adjusted return than acquisitions of new properties and therefore intends to prioritize such investments for as long as that relationship persists.Slottsviken is not providing an earnings forecast.
