Japan Airlines has put Aerowash’s AW3 aircraft washing robot into operation at Narita Airport and is thereby confirmed as the end customer in Aerowash’s first Japanese order, announced in January. According to JAL, this is the first time a Japanese airline has used such a washing robot. JAL will also investigate the possibility of introducing the technology at more Japanese airports. Aerowash received another order in Japan in March.
