WntResearch AB (publ) and EMD Millipore have entered into a non-exclusive license agreement that allows EMD Millipore to produce and sell the Box-5 drug candidate for research applications. The Box-5 drug candidate is an inhibitor of Wnt-5a signaling with the same amino acid backbone as WntResearch's lead drug candidate Foxy-5. The Box-5 drug candidate for research use is expected to be a niche product from which WntResearch will receive a double digit royalty on net sales and drug product for quality monitoring purposes.
